Interpretation Service

Born and raised in Tokyo, our main interpreter, Mr. Nobuyuki KONO, speaks English fluently and clearly after having had a long career in the field of international cooperation.
His experience of interpretation has covered business meetings, lectures, seminars, workshops and cultural exchange programs.

Japanese Lessons

WABI Linkage offers Japanese Lessons for those who are simply interested in learning the language and culture of Japan, and for those seriously preparing for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) administered world-wide.
Mr. Kono stresses the importance of teaching proper Japanese to his students while introducing the Japanese culture as a way towards fostering friendship, mutual understanding, and better cultural assimilation of Filipinos into Japanese society.

  • Born & raised in Tokyo, Japan.
  • Has been a resident of Cebu City, Philippines since 1998.
  • Speaks English fluently and clearly.
  • Has had a long career in the field of international cooperation as a translator and interpreter since 1987.
  • Has been teaching Japanese since 2006.
  • Completed “Nihongo as a Foreign Language” (NAFL)
  • Japanese Language Instructors Qualification Program in January 2012.
  • Has been conducting Japanese classes in Japanese companies in Cebu.
  • Stresses the use of proper Japanese to promote better assimilation of Filipinos into Japanese society.
